About the role
We are looking for a reliable and customer-focused Delivery Driver to deliver customer orders safely, accurately, and on time. As a direct point of contact with our customers, you will represent Superbrands through professional service, courteous communication, careful order handling, and accurate collection of payments.
Responsibilities
Deliver customer orders safely, accurately, and within the assigned delivery schedule. Provide professional and courteous service when interacting with customers. Represent the company positively during every customer interaction and maintain a professional appearance and attitude. Verify orders before delivery and ensure that the correct items are handed to the correct customer. Handle products carefully during loading, transportation, and delivery to prevent loss or damage. Collect cash, card, or other authorized payments from customers as required and ensure payment amounts are accurate. Issue or provide the required payment or delivery documentation according to company procedures. Safeguard collected cash and payments and reconcile all collections accurately at the end of the assigned route or shift. Obtain required customer confirmation or proof of delivery. Communicate clearly with customers regarding deliveries and coordinate appropriately when directions, timing, or other delivery information needs clarification. Handle customer questions, concerns, and complaints professionally and refer matters to the appropriate team when necessary. Immediately report unsuccessful deliveries, payment discrepancies, damaged products, incorrect orders, or other delivery issues. Follow assigned delivery routes while responding efficiently to operational changes during the day. Maintain accurate records of completed, pending, returned, and unsuccessful deliveries. Return undelivered or returned products according to company procedures. Maintain the assigned vehicle in a clean and presentable condition and report any mechanical, safety, or maintenance concerns promptly. Follow traffic laws, road-safety requirements, company procedures, and safe-driving practices at all times. Maintain the confidentiality and security of customer information, orders, and payment details. Support other delivery and operational duties as reasonably required.
Requirements
Valid Jordanian driving licence appropriate for the assigned vehicle. Good knowledge of Amman roads, neighborhoods, and commonly used routes. Safe and responsible driving record. Strong customer-service and interpersonal skills. Professional and respectful communication with customers. Trustworthy and responsible when handling cash, payments, products, and company property. Good attention to detail when verifying orders and collecting payments. Ability to use smartphones, navigation applications, and basic delivery or communication applications. Ability to manage multiple deliveries and work efficiently according to an assigned schedule. Ability to communicate effectively in Arabic. Willingness to work according to operational and delivery schedules.
